For how long is up for question though......





I have a new journal skin for the sake of a change. I had the other one for sooo long...


I'm still so sorry for my absence and I know there's not real excuse, but I haven't had a lot of artistic juices flowing recently.... I've been going through a fair amount of emotional stress (like I haven't had that before) over the past few months and I hate to admit that the toll has been taken....
A friend of mine decided that she wouldn't give me the benifit of the doubt and claimed that I was intentionally ditching her and leaving her out of things. In fact, I was sick at home and invited a mutal friend from 5 minutes up the street to see my new kitten..... It goes deeper then that, but that's where it all started, but in the end I had to cut myself out of her life. I didn't want to do it. I love my friends and I love her (yes, I still love her), but there wasn't another option. My Dad even told me it would be a good idea....

And last Monday my Grandfather passed away....
Well, to be honest he wasn't actually our Grandfather. We called him Jock and he married my Grandma about 6-7 years ago. He was a great bloke who really took care of all of us. We all loved him dearly and we'll miss him just as much... We're all going to the funeral tomorrow, so I'm sure to be doing some comfort art when I get home... maybe... no promises...

For those who have been wondering what I have been doing with my time, I've been writing.
I spend nearly all day writing these days. I'm still working on a story from August: formerly All Kinds of Magical. It's since been renamed to 'The Purity of Trust'. I'm also working on a new story set in 15th century Japan called 'I'm Not Your Princess'. Both stories are on my Wattpad if you're interested [link]
I've also been on Tumblr a lot.... I spend too much time on there. But if it weren't for Tumblr I wouldn't be getting the updates I now get! If you have Tumblr, add me, 'kay~ [link]

For the last 2 weeks myself and other loyal Shawols have been spamming Tumblr. and the 'Sherlock' tag with SHINee~!! (and thoroughly ticking off all the BBC Sherlockians in the process). Their new album and music video was released (Sherlock) last week and it's too amazing to keep our mouths shut~!!! If you're interested, here's their newest video: [link] \(^o^)





Plans are in the works for going to Hong Kong and Korea. My friend and her family go to Hong Kong annually to visit family over there and her Mother was gracious enough to allow my friend to invite us along~! So three more of us are going along for the ride. We're also going to visit Korea (where we really really really want to go more than anything~!!!!! - I said 'hello' in Korean, before, btw )
Nothing's set in complete stone yet, but I can't lie when I say that I'm ecstatic about this! It's the first time I'll be travelling overseas without my family and the thought is fantastic!
Just gotta save some more money and then I'll be all set
